These are some more videos I made for Soul Winners Boot Camp. Travis liked the NBA ad campaign “Where Amazing Happens” so I found the song they used and did a quick imitation…

The Soul Winners Boot Camp staff asked me to design their badges and keychains for the 2009 tour. I went with this digital camouflage design. They liked it. Done deal.

I’m pretty excited about the project I worked on for AnsweredHere.com, one of Tim Downs’ websites. After seeing some work I had done for Soul Winners Boot Camp (see here and here), Tim contacted me and asked me to create a video for the main page of the site.

Here’s what Rev. Downs asked for:

I’m looking at something that opens up with war, hurricanes, famine, ect…very powerful opening and then go to a black screen that says ‘QUESTIONS?’

Based on that, I went to work looking for the stock images and footage I would need to put it all together. This is by far the most time-consuming part of the entire process. In the meantime, I put together some audio tracks for him to choose from.  I like to start with the audio and then add the images and video later.

After assembling a library of images and clips, the fun begins. I basically created four different compositions in After Effects – Homeless, Disasters, Drugs, and War. I find it so mch easier to break the project down into smaller, less-intimidating segments.

This is the first motion graphic I made for Soul Winners Boot Camp. I added it to one of the videos I made for Travis and he really liked it. So I went back and added it to some other videos for him.

It doens’t have any specific audio with it because it was displayed while other background music was playing.

I particularly enjoy the way the arrows overlap one another as they travel. It’s a pretty easy effect to accomplish and it adds some subtle complexity to the video.
